Blog Archive MBA News Babson Spearheads Online Courses in Entrepreneurship Students at other institutions will soon have the option of taking entrepreneurial course work from the Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College⦠at least remotely. According to Bloomberg Businessweek, Babson is planning to license a number of its entrepreneurial courses to other schools through a new partnership with online educational platform NovoEd. With the school consistently ranked among the top programs for entrepreneurship, Babsonâs goal is to make its collaborative, group-learning model of education more affordable and accessible to students interested in starting their own business. With 13 courses already available, such as âAccounting for Entrepreneursâ and âCrash Course in Creativity,â Babson has announced that it will expand the program over the next few years to include approximately 35 courses that other schools may license. Babson will be training local instructors to teach portions of the licensed courses in person, in addition to the online component, and students are required to start their own business before graduating. Since the launch of NovoEd in April, students using the platform have created more than 7,000 businesses. Share ThisTweet News
